Leap of Faith

This is the beginning of my new spread....it was done by dipping metallic watercolor pencil into water and writing with it and then I took pens to outline around the letters.
I am really glad that you cannot mess up a visual journal. My nerves have been a bit on edge lately and so I could not manage to keep my hands from trembling as I traced around the letters. Fortunately for me, it came out with a cool effect anyway. And no, this page is no where near done.

I did manage to sell my first piece of jewelry last week. I was super excited, especially since it just happened to be the piece that I was the least impressed with. Goodbye Dark Snowflake!

I should be getting some new jewelry stuff in the next day or so and I'm super excited about that too!

The beginnings of my First Page

It's not much and it's not any way near finished, but I wanted to update on my progress.
I'm not sure what will become of it yet, but at least in the beginnings, I will post as I make small amounts of progress and if there appears to be interest, I will post more.

Visual Journal

I'm starting a new visual journal because I feel like I have changed so much in the past few months so I have a need to start over in a blank journal.
This doesn't have anything to do with anything I'm going to try to sell, but it's part of me as a person and all creativity is intertwined.
I'm hoping if I put my intention up here of trying to work in it just a little every day, then maybe I will actually work in it most days and not quit it partway through.

This one is actually a brand I haven't tried before. It's a reflections aqua and was like 5 or 6 dollars from Jerry's Artorama in Raleigh, NC.
Well, here goes nothing...

New And Improved Logo

This is my new logo, courtesy of Ron Roy. He also does business cards, t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats and magnets. He also runs a magazine (Down And Dirty Racing).

As you guys can see, I've started getting stuff up here and everything here is already up on my Etsy. That can be found here.

I honestly feel like my stuff is worth a little more than what I am letting it go for, but I felt it was better to start lower and see how things go.
